Tucked away just outside the quiet village of Eure in northeastern North Carolina, The Haven offers a peaceful refuge for missionaries, pastors, and ministry leaders seeking rest and restoration. Our property encompasses nearly 55 acres of rolling fields and tranquil forests that create a serene backdrop for prayer, reflection, and fellowship.
The Haven is easily accessible yet feels wonderfully secluded. We are situated an hour east of Interstate 95, only ten minutes south of the Virginia state line, and just over a mile east of Highway 13. This central location allows guests to arrive without difficulty while still enjoying the unhurried pace of the countryside.
Our guest house provides comfortable accommodations designed to help you step away from the demands of ministry life and experience true refreshment. Whether you’re here for a personal retreat, sabbatical, or time of focused renewal, you’ll find a warm welcome and the space to be still.
Driving Directions
Step 1
From I-95: In North Carolina take Hwy 158/Roanoke Rapids exit 173; travel east about 50 miles; turn right AFTER underpass and follow on-ramp onto north Hwy 13; drive north for 5.7 miles; turn right (east) onto Hill Lane Road and travel 1.2 miles to The Haven (physical address is 235 Hill Lane Road), which will be the log home on your right.

Step 2
From US Hwy 13: (the Norfolk/Portsmouth VA area) travel south on Hwy 13 about 40 miles; 1 mile south of the intersection of Hwy 13 and Hwy 158, turn left (east) onto Hill Lane Road and travel 1.2 miles to The Haven at 235 Hill Lane Road on your right.
Step 3
From US Hwy 17: (the “Coastal Route”) travel west on Hwy 158 to the intersection with Hwy 13. Turn left (south) on Hwy 13 and drive 1 mile. Turn left (east) onto Hill Lane Road and travel 1.2 miles to The Haven at 235 Hill Lane Road - the log home on your right.
