As Bob and I (Ann) drove home from an evening out (shopping and dinner "date" night), the phenomenon of shortening days was evident. The road before us was a bit foggy as a result of a recent rainfall. In the evening light it seemed mystical, as though we were driving in a dream. And it often feels like we are not only driving, but living a dream. Having moved into the new guesthouse seven months ago, we are becoming more settled every day, all the while hosting missionary guests. So far this year, we have hosted missionaries from Africa, Europe, the USA, and Haiti. We are watching the vision of “A Refreshed Missionary is an Effective Missionary” unfold before us: a dream coming true.

As we begin thinking about fall activities at The Haven, plans are coming together to dedicate this new home, Cheza Shalom, on October 5th, 2019. We invite you to come and be a part of the huge blessing of what God is doing locally and throughout the world through this ministry. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this special occasion to give God glory for all He has done and is about to do at The Haven Missionary Care Center. Let us know if you will be able to join us for this wonderful event - and especially if you will need accommodations!
