Last summer we set a goal to move into our log home by Christmas. On Dec. 6, 2018, after a flurry of activity, Bob & Ann moved into Cheza Shalom while Susan moved from her downstairs “bunk room” to her new upstairs apartment & office. As only God could have planned, we received our Certificate of Occupancy in the mail that very same evening! Our new home is now open and ready for guests. We are grateful beyond words for God’s magnificent grace and provision.

As we have built, we continually ministered to dozens of missionaries as well as blessing our community through weekly prayer meetings, uplifting seminars, and an open door for encouraging our neighbors. Grief Share is our next ministry of hope for 2019. Susan and Ann spent 13 weeks taking the course in preparation for offering it to the folks in our area. We plan to begin in March. (Please contact us for info if you live nearby and know someone who is grieving.)

Whether grieving the loss of a loved one or seeing a vision fulfilled, we all need hope. HOPE is a small word with a HUGE meaning. For the past six years, God continually gave us hope for the completion of this awesome house of peace (Cheza Shalom). Much of that hope came in the form of volunteers (YOU) from near and far who sacrificially gave their time, talent, and treasure to prepare this home-away-from-home for missionaries around the world.

Thank you so much!
