Ann is founder and President of The Haven Missionary Care Center. Ann operated a successful home business for over 40 years before becoming a full time missionary in 2006. For four years she was involved in Christian radio ministry in Nairobi, Kenya providing listener support for programs produced by Calvary Chapel pastors from various locations in the USA. Ann also produced and hosted several radio ministry programs of her own. She is a trained instructor for Biblical Counseling Courses, which she has taught for 14 years as well as providing one-on-one counseling using Biblical Counseling Foundation materials. She, along with her husband, Bob, led fellowship groups in their local churches in both California and Florida before moving to North Carolina in 2011.

Bob is co-founder and board Secretary/Treasurer of The Haven Missionary Care Center. Upon retiring in 1991 after more than 20 years as an officer in the US Air Force, Bob worked in the aerospace and communications technology arena before becoming a full time missionary to Kenya in 2006. In Kenya, as General Manager for a Christian radio network, Bob developed management policy, budget and planning documents, and edited the broadcasts for use in Kenya and provided listener support for the programs of U.S. Calvary Chapel pastors. Bob has served as a Deacon and Elder for more than 30 years in churches in California and Florida, and has led or taught a number of church sponsored groups and classes during this time.

Susan is co-founder and board Vice President of The Haven Missionary Care Center. Susan has been a faith-supported missionary for more than 22 years, serving the Lord in a variety of positions in over 30 countries on six continents. She served nearly 13 years with Teen Missions International, working as Bible School Administrator in Honduras, Overseas Youth Ministry Coordinator in many countries and Video Department Coordinator at the home base, in addition to leading oversees mission and film teams each summer. She served three and a half years with Gospel For Asia, becoming acquainted with the native missionary movement. She assisted with GFA’s video and television ministries before co-founding Serve India Ministries (SIM). She presently serves as the SIM Director of Operations and board member in addition to her duties as a board member of The Haven Missionary Care Center. Susan is a senior chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains and serves as a volunteer chaplain for the law enforcement agencies of the county in which she resides.
